Free tool for heat pump installers
Is your website's grant information out of date?
The Boiler Upgrade Scheme changed in 2026. A valid EPC is no longer required, and homes off the gas grid can get £9,000 until 31 March 2027. Check what your site tells homeowners, plus the basics that decide whether it brings in enquiries.

What the check looks for
- Saying a valid EPC is required for the grant. It isn't any more: if a home has no valid EPC, the installer can give Ofgem other evidence.
- Saying there must be no outstanding loft or cavity wall insulation recommendations.
- Quoting the old £5,000 heat pump grant. It's £7,500 for air source and ground source.
- Saying the scheme ends in 2025.
- Not mentioning the £9,000 off gas grid grant, available until 31 March 2027.
- The basics that turn visitors into enquiries: secure connection, mobile layout, search title and description, business details for search engines and AI tools, MCS shown, tap to call and an enquiry form.
Grant figures checked against Ofgem and GOV.UK on 23 October 2026. The check reads text automatically and can miss things or flag text out of context, so treat it as a pointer, not legal advice.
